The Kapellenberg is a 759m high and striking mountain in the Upper Vogtland. It belongs to the Elster Mountains and is its highest elevation.The observation tower on the Kapellenberg was rebuilt in 1993 and is surrounded by a prehistoric fortification. You have an ideal view over the Vogtland, the Egerland and Bavaria.
